Logging

Application log

By default the software is logging to the following location:

  • Windows: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\SDH Software\PTP\Logs
  • MacOS: ~/.local/share/SDH Software/PTP/Logs
  • Linux: ~/.local/share/SDH Software/PTP/Logs

This logbook contains operational logs. It is stored on a frequency of each day and capped to 100Mb filesize. It stored the last 90 days and cleans up older data by itself to save diskspace.

Log settings

The settings to which information is logged is defined in the AppSettings.json file located at;

  • Windows: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\SDH Software\PTP
  • MacOS: ~/.local/share/SDH Software/PTP
  • Linux: ~/.local/share/SDH Software/PTP
